Playing in the rain, Monday, September 7. 2009

Amber, Isaac, and Abigail came over to our house today. While Abigail was down for a nap, it started to really rain. As it was just about over, Isaac said he wanted to go outside and play in the puddles. So, Amber and DeeDee dressed him in some of DeeDee's old boots, with socks stuffed into the toes so he could walk in them, one of DeeDee's sweatshirt jackets, and a knit cap. He and Amber went out into the back yard, where he played in puddles, ran through the mud, and had fun on the swing set. Our weather has been alternating from 80's with sun to high 60's with on and off rain for about a week or so. But, summer is not quite over, as after a week of partial rain, we are due for clear weather at the end of the week with temps back up into the 80's.
