After leaving Lechfall, we drove through some more breathtaking countryside, ending up in the village of Wangen, where we had reservations to stay at the Hotel Landgasthof Mohren. The accomodations were very nice and just like any upscale motel you would find in the US. We walked up the street to an Italian restuarant for dinner, then strolled leisurely back to the hotel. In the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast in the Hotel dining room, which was included in the price of the room. We dined on rolls of all sorts, cheeses, sliced meats, cereals, fruit, juices, coffee, tea; you name it, they had it.
