Vacation #36: 5/29/10: Germany - Aying and Tegernsee

After breakfast, we took two cars and drove to Aying, about 25 kilometers from Munich, in order to take a tour of the Brauerei Ayinger (Aying Brewery). Of course, the best part of the tour was at the end when the bar was open and we got a chance to taste six or seven of their brews - apparently no limit, but since we were going to spend several hours in the car in a little while, it was wise not to have too many. After the brewery, we drove to a restuarant that features Aying beer.

Then, we set off to the south to a small lake called Tegernsee. We spent several hours walking along the shore line and sight seeing. Then it was time to split up, with Reinhold and Beate going back to Isen in their car and Sabine, David, Hanna, DeeDee and me heading back to Schopflenberg. We sure had a wonderful two days.
